My little man....

What a long and challenging week it was with Reid last week and through the weekend. He's starting to test Mom and Dad to see what he can and cannot get, its exhausting. The crying, winning and tantrums are horrible. He really let dad have it over the weekend while I was scrapbooking at my annual fall overnigther. Sat. night he didn't go to bed until 11pm and then was up at 3am until 9am which then he slept until 1pm. CRAZY, so not like him. He seems to be better this week, less crying and back to a some what normal sleep pattern.

I had a great time at my Overnighter, My sister-in-law Sheri does a great job hosting these events something I always look forward to. I took advantage of some of her break-out sessions and learned to power sort all of my pics for Reid from Nov 07 - July 08. Then I also took an advance digital training which I learned some new tricks. Im now starting to think i may not need photoshop like I thought. One of the programs I have which is Memory Manager had an upgrade which I can finally download on my computer because I upgraded my Internet allows me to do a lot of what photoshop would have so...... Less money to spend!

I finished 40+ pages over the weekend which was only half way through March 08 (I think I need to scale down the pics I take and print! But how can I, how do you choose what events or pics to say no to....)

Here are some pics I promised awhile ago of Reid and his hair cut....

1st photo Shoot

Ok so I got to do my first photo shoot! It was so fun and so far I feel it was successful. I haven't received feed back from her mom yet but I was very happy with what I had to work with . Newborns can definitely be trying, Lucy didn't really care to be naked so we worked with what we had. She is just a cutie! Here are a few of my favorite's.

I can't wait for the weekend. I get to scrap book. My Sister in law is having her fall overnight workshop, one of my fav. things in the fall. I hope to get Reids album caught up. So far Im about a year behind so I have a lot of work to do.

Talk to you soon...

Im Back...

Ok so sorry I haven't posted for a while. I was on VACATION and a much needed vacation it was. A lot has happened over the past week so here goes.

We closed on our house Sept. 26 without any issues. Tom worked hard the first weekend, he put in new cement in the barn/garage and then him and his Dad (Andy) worked on demolition inside. They ripped off all the tung and groove in the kitchen and living room (it looks better already).

Reid got his first real hair cut on last Monday (I lost my baby and gained a true toddler). He looks so cute. I will post pics soon.

My Girlfriend at work had her Baby last Monday (I was sad I didn't get to visit it her in the hospital) however we are going to plan on taking her first photo shot this weekend. I just can't wait, so many ideas!

And on a sad but exciting note I got to wish my sister goodbye, shes off to Colorado! She hasn't left yet but my parents are taking her down there on Thursday this week. Im so excited for her to move and explore life in Colorado. Im just sad that she wont be just few hours a way like Im used to but now I have a reason to go out west and visit her.

Kimberly I leave you with these inspiring words.... "Life is either a daring adventure or nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strength undefeatable." - Helen Keller . Ok so its not like im never going to see you/her again but it feels like your going to be so far away but really I can pick up the phone and talk like where face to face. Never say goodbye just say see ya later! Love YA!

My other big update is WE HAVE TV AGAIN! Ok I know im pathetic, but you don't realize how you thrive on TV when you don't have it. We finally got the satellite co. to come out and install it at our apartment. I just love how mindless you can be with TV especially when your mentally exhausted.

Ok so thats whats new with me. I hope all of you are enjoying the fall weather!
